It's a known fact I'm a lipstick junkie and with the trend of the year being liquid lipsticks I've been to get my hands on as many as I can. Probably my favourite brand I've come across is the Velour Liquid Lipsticks by Jeffree Star. This summer he released the Limited Edition Summer Range with 5 brand new shades. A lot of the shades were very out there, I mean a yellow liquid lip, really? But there were a couple that were more for 'everyday' wear. The shade I picked up was Watermelon Soda.
Watermelon Soda is a bright Pink/Coral. The Coral tones really do make this shade more wearable than an average bright pink. The scent and packaging of the summer lipsticks has change from the usual line, this time they smell like watermelon and have a yellow cap.
I don't find these lipsticks drying at all. I mean yes of course they are going to be matte when they dry, but I don't find they crumble throughout the day like a lot of liquid lipsticks. They're also 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free as is all of Jeffree's products. I personally think this a universal colour that will look good on any skin tone.
