Recently I posted my thoughts on the Kat Von D 'Lock It Foundation', in case you missed that post you can read it - here. It turned out to be one of my most popular posts, so I thought I'd turn this into a mini-series and go through my foundation collection and share my thoughts on them. Today I'm starting with my most used foundation - the Urban Decay 'Naked Weightless' Liquid Foundation.
P A C K A G I N G
As with any product from Urban Decay, I love the packaging of this foundation. It's simple and light weight, but still looks high end. The gun metal accents add a little something extra to a rather plain design. This foundation comes in your standard bottle with a pump and lid.

The reason I actually picked up this foundation was because of the shade range. I popped into Debenhams to swatch this foundation and I was gobsmacked and how it matched my skin perfectly! There are currently 21 shades available and mine is in the shade 0.5 which is the lightest shade. The formula is one of the best I've come across. This foundation gets the balance between coverage, weightlessness and luminosity just right. You're able to achieve a flawless demi-matte finish with a lightweight formula, hence the term 'Naked'.. it feels like nothing is on your skin! The formula therefore, is thin and on the watery side. Yet gives a good medium coverage and I would say can definitely be builded to give a full coverage flawless look.

My only niggle I have with this foundation is I would like it to last a little bit longer on the skin, but since it doesn't claim to I can't fault it for that. It is still incredible for day to day wear. As I said, this is my go to everyday foundation and this is currently my third bottle of the stuff! I don't thick I've ever repurchased a high end foundation three times?!
