As you may know, every month I test out a new product from the UK brand skinChemists. Last month I tried out their Rose Quartz Facial Oil, which if you missed you can read here. This month I'm sharing with you their 'Bee Venom Facial Serum' from their Bee Venom Range.
This Facial Serum is one of skinChemists best selling products and I've actually seen it featured in a few magazines before! This product is aimed for people who want more brighter, and youthful looking skin. The main ingredient, as you may have guessed is Bee Venom (so if you're allergic to Bees give this product a miss!) which stimulates blood circulation, which in turn plumps the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The serum also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids to firm the skin, and improve skin clarity and evening your skin tone, to make your skin brighter and youthful.
Seeing as I'm only 21, I don't really have any severe wrinkles (yet), but do have a few fine lines from creasing, particularly on my forehead, or around my smile lines. Using this daily has definitely improved the look of these, nothing too drastic as they are only very fine lines. But I have noticed a difference for sure. The main noticeable outcome for me has been the brightening aspect of the serum. My skin has never looked so clear. It's difficult to explain, but my skin just looks brand new. It's definitely brighter and clearer, which I have noticed because I actually feel confident enough to go out bare faced with no makeup on! I can see how if used on people of an older age, this could make them appear to have that 'youthful glow'. If I'm 100% honest, this is my favourite skinChemists product I've tried so far.
skinChemists have kindly let me run a giveaway for my readers too! To enter the giveaway see the tweet below and follow the rules. You can also purchase the Bee Venom Facial Serum (RRP £135) for £19.99 using the code TERRIBLOG at the checkout!
