Can you believe it's nearly November already?! I know it's a little too early, but I'm already thinking about the new year and the changes that come with it. Don't worry, this isn't a resolutions kinda post, more just 5 things I would like to do a little more of before 2017 is over. They're pretty small or 'insignificant' things, but ultimately their things that I would like to do more of and carry into next year.
1. Reading
For some reason the only time I seem to properly read is when I'm travelling. When I was in Portugal last month I couldn't put my book down, but since getting back I haven't even picked up where I left off. So I'm going to make a conscious effort to read more. Whether that be before bed, in the bath, or on a bus, I will try my best.
2. Going For Walks
This one I'm going to struggle with as I absolutely hate being cold so will be outside as little as possible during these months. On the other hand though, I also hate being cooped up for long periods of time. Going for more walks will not only solve that, but will benefit me physically also.
3. Blogging
You may have noticed I've been rolling out a new schedule over here. I'm attempting to post three times a week now. And I'm not gonna lie, it' a lot of work. It isn't the writing the posts that I struggle with. Once I start typing I can't stop. It's the photography and editing that takes up a large chunk of my time. But it's something I want to achieve.
4. Trying New Food
Last year or so I went through a weird phase with eating. In short, I had a panic attack on a plane, and a panic attack in a restaurant. Both times involved food, and both caused me to vomit. After that my eating habits changed. I was triggered by certain situations and certain foods. I would avoid going out to eat for the fear of having an attack or being sick. Thankfully I've gotten out of it now, so I'd like to step out of my comfort zone. I don't want to play it safe and go to the same restaurant and order the same thing every time. I want to try new food at lots of new places.
5. Scrapbooking
To end on a more light hearted note, I really really love scrapbooking! I started a 'proper' one a couple of years ago and have just been so bust I haven't updated it in around a year (oops). So I would love to pick that back up and decorate it even better than previously.
What would you like to do more of? Is there anything new you'd like to try?
