1. Dexter
This is an oldie, but definitely a goodie! This show is a crime drama about a man named Dexter who works in forensics, and leads an almost double life as a vigilante serial killer. If you're into crime shows and shows that get you thinking, you will love this!
2. Pretty Little Liars
If you haven't heard of this show, have you been living under a rock?! PLL is about a group of friends who are essentially being tormented by 'A'. Expect a lot of plot twists and to be extremely frustrated basically all the way throughout this one..
3. Orange Is The New Black
OITNB is one of my all time faves. The show revolves around the inmates in a female prison and how day to day life is for them. It also touches on lots of important issues with a lot of tearful moments as well as the drama the prison has to offer.
4. Stranger Things
Stranger Things has everyone talking. The show fits into the sci-fi horror genre and starts with the disappearance of a young boy. Honestly, that's all I'm gonna say about this one, you just need to watch it!
5. Black Mirror
If you're not someone who likes to binge watch a series, this is the show for you. Each episode has a different story, cast and sometimes even a different reality. Each episode shows a dark side to a particular element of modern society that will really get you reevaluating life! Honestly this show will mess with your head.
6. Riverdale
Riverdale is a fairly new one, but so far I'm really enjoying it. The show is based on the characters in the Archie Comics. I would say this is your stereotypical teen mystery drama.
7. American Horror Story
Finally, my favourite show. AHS, like black mirror isn't your stereotypical tv show. Each season has a different plot and characters, but with a lot of the same cast. Meaning you can go in any order of season as you please. It's great seeing some of your favourite actors playing different roles throughout each season. I think the name alone pretty much sums up what you can expect from the show.
Have you seen any of the above? What would be your recommendations?
