Isn't it rubbish when you get back from an amazing trip and get struck with the holiday blues? Well that's how I'm currently feeling. It's been just over a month since I got back from the Algarve, and I've been hit with the wanderlust once again.
One thing you may not know, is I'm actually much more of a city gal than a beach babe! Obviously soaking up the sun with a Pina Colada in your hand is fantastic, but I love to explore!
I love creating these little travel lists. It's almost gives me a little checklist that one day I'll look back on and be like 'Yup, you did that!'. So here are 5 European Cities that I would love to visit:
1. ASMTERDAM
Honestly, this first one kinda of annoys the hell out of me because I did try to go at the start of the year, but our ferry got cancelled because of Storm Doris. Yup, remember her?
I know some people say it's a very overrated city, and to be honest, it doesn't seem like somewhere I would feel the need to visit several times, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to explore it at least once.
I truly feel like there's not one person I know who hasn't been to Amsterdam, so I need to tick it off my list, asap!
2. LISBON
Oh look, another failed plan. This was another trip we had planned when sunning it up in Portugal, and it just fell through for a number of reasons.
Lisbon truly does look beautiful and has a lot of history to be explored. I love the look of the narrow little streets, markets and museums! Plus, it's always fun jumping on a tram!
3. PRAGUE
Speaking of beautiful cities, how gorgeous does Prague look?! Prague was somewhere I was never too fussed over. I've always heard everyone rave about it, and it's only now I'm like 'Okay, I need to go'.
Visiting Prague is how I would imagine stepping back in time being. I mean just look at Prague Castle!
It does seem like it gets very crowded and busy, but honestly after walking through Barcelona, I feel like I can handle anything!
4. ROME
Would any travel list be complete without me mentioning Rome? Everything about this city appeals to me.
Now when I say I want to do everything in Rome, I mean I want to do EVERYTHING. And that includes eating as much pasta and pizza I possibly can until I'm sick.
Rome truly is such a historical and fascinating place.
5. VIENNA
And finally we have Vienna. I kind of feel like Vienna looks like something straight out of a movie. Everything looks too stunning and beautiful.
Vienna is drowning in Arts and Culture with Theatre's and Opera houses being a massive point of interest. It also houses one of the oldest amusement parks in the world!
What is your favourite city in Europe? Which ones are on your bucketlist?
