Last week I published a post all about my
Travel Highlights from 2017, in which I said I would do a '2018 travel bucketlist/goals' type of post. Well, this is that post!
The inspiration for this post came from browsing the 'Destinations' page over on Destination2.co.uk which specialise in luxury long haul holidays. I've picked five destinations from their site that caught my eye to add to my bucketlist.

The inspiration for this post came from browsing the 'Destinations' page over on Destination2.co.uk which specialise in luxury long haul holidays. I've picked five destinations from their site that caught my eye to add to my bucketlist.
So, let's get started. Here are five destinations I'll be adding to my bucketlist..
1. St Lucia
Located in the Caribbean, St Lucia is often described as one of the most beautiful islands in the world! With luxurious beaches surrounded by small villages and rainforests, it's easy to see why this is such a popular destination!
2. Crete
Crete is somewhere a lot of us brits have been, and yet I'm only now just seeing the appeal. Being the largest of the Greek islands, Crete has lots of exploring to be done and is definitely one for the activity lovers.
3. Mexico
I've been eyeing up Mexico for the longest time now, it truly does seem to have it all! From vibrant nightlife to stunning scenery and peaceful resorts, it's definitely somewhere to look into!
4. Maldives
You can't have luxury without the Maldives! There's a reason why this destination is so popular and can usually be found at the top of peoples lists. If you're looking for that picturesque, paradise island getaway, this is the place for you.
5. Phuket
And last but not least on my list is Phuket which is Thailand's largest island. Often known as the party capital, this island has so much more to offer than just it's nightlife including immaculate white beaches and beautiful natural landscapes filled with waterfalls, caves and historic temples.
And as for my 2018 plans, I actually have none as of yet!
We're more than likely going to be having another european holiday in May. I'm really loving the look of Croatia for that. I'm also determined for 2018 to be the year I go to Italy for a short break, where and when is another question though. I'd also like to travel further afield toward the end of the year, so maybe 2018 is the year for Mexico?
What are your 2018 travel plans?
