It's been a long time coming, but finally the Hard Rock Cafe has made it's appearance in the streets of Newcastle! There are so many new and exciting plans for the city of Newcastle, and the news of the Hard Rock Cafe was one we all couldn't have been more excited for! Located on the Quayside, inside The Guildhall, it's in a prime spot for lunching by the river! I was kindly invited down to their press launch for a look at what the venue has to offer.
Food & Drink
The Hard Rock Cafe is the perfect place for all groups. Whether its cocktails with the girls, or lunch with a view! Their menu is described as casual dining and has some signature dishes to offer such as The Whey Aye Burger which is served with Northumberland Cheese, Onion Compote, Horseradish Cream, Pease Pudding, and Cheddar Cheese, - all served in a toasted charcoal and sesame seed bun!
If you're dining in a group, there are a fantastic range of sharers to pass around. They also have a great alcohol selection with various wines, and beers available, as well as a whole range of amazing cocktails and boozy milkshakes. You can view their full menu here.
Merchandise & Memorabilia
Of course it wouldn't be a Hard Rock Cafe without some one of a kind merch! By the entrance to the cafe, you'll find it's very own Hard Rock Cafe gift shop which sells items such as T-Shirts, Mugs, Teddy Bears, and lots of other little keepsakes. I actually picked up a limited edition Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle T-Shirt!
Arguably one of the most impressive selling points of the cafe, is the various legendary memorabilia places that are on display throughout the whole venue. We were introduced to pieces from the likes of AC/DC, Sting, Amy Winehouse and many more by our lovely host, who shared plenty of interesting info behind each item.
